Today, bioplastics are a sustainable alternative for numerous applications and are establishing themselves as an innovative solution for recycling organic and synthetic waste into new raw materials, promoting the circular economy model. According to future forecasts, the production of bioplastics will triple by 2026. The aim of the event “Biopolymers and sustainable composites” on 1st and 2nd March 2022 in Valencia is to promote the debate on the new challenges and opportunities of sustainable bioplastics and biocomposites.

Don’t miss the presentation by Rui Marinho, co-founder and sales manager of Polymer Solutions. He will present Bio-Flex®, a family of biodegradable and certified compostable plastics based on renewable resources that can be used in agriculture and forestry and avoid the use of non-biodegradable plastics. Our Bio-Flex® portfolio includes biodegradable and compostable biopolymers. Due to its special chemical structure, Bio-Flex® can be degraded by microorganisms.
