EcoVadis – Instantly awarded ‘Bronze’ in sustainability rating
With the help of EcoVadis, we can ensure that our efforts not only meet our own high standards but also align with international best practices and standards. In the first assessment, EcoVadis awarded FKuR’s sustainability activities the Bronze Medal.We are particularly proud of this achievement. With the Bronze award, FKuR ranks among the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the Manufacture of Plastics Products industry worldwide. This recognition reaffirms our role as a driver of sustainable transformation in the plastics industry and validates our commitment to sustainability. We are delighted with the recognition, as this award underscores our commitment to environmental protection, social responsibility, and ethical business practices.

What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a company specialized in assessing the sustainability performance of businesses. It provides companies with a platform where they can disclose and have their sustainability practices evaluated. Based on these assessments, companies can enhance their sustainability performance and transparently position themselves to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. These four thematic areas form the basis for EcoVadis’ assessment of a company’s sustainability performance and assist companies in identifying and improving their strengths and weaknesses in sustainability.
Criteria for sustainability
The evaluation by EcoVadis is a comprehensive process that assesses companies based on 21 sustainability criteria across four specific thematic areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. These four thematic areas form the basis for EcoVadis’ assessment of a company’s sustainability performance and assist companies in identifying and improving their strengths and weaknesses in sustainability.
Environment
Assessment of a company’s environmental impact, including energy consumption, waste management, emissions, and environmental conservation measures.
Labor & Human Rights
Assessment of a company’s social impact, including working conditions, human rights, diversity and inclusion, and workplace health and safety.
Ethics
Assessment of a company’s ethical practices, including anti-corruption measures, transparency, compliance with laws and regulations, and ethical business practices.
Sustainable Procurement
Assessment of a company’s suppliers’ sustainability performance to ensure that sustainable practices are upheld throughout the entire supply chain.
