BioBive – Research for Tomorrow’s Practice
As an innovation-driven company, FKuR plays a key role in advancing the development of sustainable plastic solutions. Within the BioBive research project, we collaborate with partners from science and industry to further develop bio-based, biodegradable materials for agricultural applications – setting our own innovation impulses along the way.
Our goal: to create options for modern agriculture to reduce its dependence on synthetic chemicals and fossil resources, and to transition seamlessly to more ecologically responsible substances. Two key approaches are the use of alternative, sustainable substances and the application of bio-based, biodegradable materials. These can help increase productivity in cultivation, lower environmental impact, and improve resource efficiency.
