Biodegradable delivery systems for plant pathogens control of horticultural crops through bio-active agents
The BioBive project is an innovative initiative aimed at developing sustainable solutions to control plant pathogens in horticultural crops. BioBive aims to improve crop yields and health, reduce environmental impact and reduce dependence on fossil materials and pesticides. Led by the Universidad de León (Spain), BioBive brings together a consortium of 16 partners from 6 European countries, including universities, research institutes and companies. The project aims to test the efficiency of the proposed systems in real-life case studies on tomatoes, carrots and strawberries.
The aim of BioBIVE is to contribute to a more resilient future by protecting biodiversity, ecosystems and human health while addressing the challenges of modern agriculture.
