Biodegradable delivery systems for plant pathogens control of horticultural crops through bio-active agents

The BioBive project is an innovative initiative aimed at developing sustainable solutions to control plant pathogens in horticultural crops. BioBive aims to improve crop yields and health, reduce environmental impact and reduce dependence on fossil materials and pesticides. This project is in line with our commitment to sustainability and responsible agriculture.

Led by the Universidad de León (Spain), BioBive brings together a consortium of 16 partners from 6 European countries, including universities, research institutes and companies.

In response to the European Commission’s target to reduce the use of pesticides by 50% by 2030, the BIOBIVE project aims to minimize the environmental impact of agriculture by reducing the use of synthetic pesticides and fossil materials. The effectiveness is being tested under real cultivation conditions in laboratories, greenhouses and outdoors on important European crops such as carrots, strawberries and tomatoes.

BioBive, das Projekt, das zu neuen Möglichkeiten der nachhaltigen Bekämpfung von Krankheitserregern beiträgt

The aim of BioBIVE is to contribute to a more resilient future by protecting biodiversity, ecosystems and human health while addressing the challenges of modern agriculture.

By working together in this consortium, we aim to develop innovative solutions that not only increase yields but also contribute to environmental sustainability in agriculture. Join us on this journey towards a future with fewer chemical pesticides and a healthier environment. Stay informed about our progress and developments within the BioBIVE project!
