What does the Braskem logo "I'm green™ bio-based" mean?
I'm green™ bio-based logo explained
The I’m green™ bio-based logo is a Braskem trademark and identifies products made from bio-based Polyethylene (Green PE) produced from renewable raw materials like Brazilian sugarcane. It indicates a bio-based carbon content of at least 80–100% (per ASTM D6866), chemically identical to conventional PE but with a negative CO₂ footprint. During sugarcane growth, CO₂ is sequestered – per ton of I’m green™ bio-based HDPE, approximately 3.09 to 5 tons of CO₂eq are saved. © Braskem
