Terralene® LL 1303 is a translucent, biobased plastic compound based on bio-PE and is preferably used for extrusion coating as well as lamination. A coordinated additive package ensures optimum processing and reduces neck-in compared to pure green PE. The mechanical properties of Terralene® LL 1303 are comparable to those of fossil PE-LD. Terralene® LL 1303 is a USDA certified biobased product. For more information about the USDA BioPreferred® program, click here. In addition, Terralene® LL 1303 is a packaging material which is suitable for contact with food.
