Terralene® LD 2509 CL is a translucent bio-PE compound based on renewable raw materials. Technically, this bio-based PE compound resembles a polypropylene. It combines the PE properties of very good translucency, very good flow properties and a predominantly organic content, which are not common in injection molding. Terralene® LD 2509 CL is certified for food contact. Together with its high translucency and good flow properties, this compound is ideally suited for the production of injection-molded food cans. In addition, Interseroh certifies Terralene® LD 2509 CL as having very high recyclability (19 out of 20 points).
