Product information

Cork is only something familiar to you from corks for wine bottles? No wonder, about 80% of the cork flows into this industry. However, we use this natural raw material to create a unique design material for 3D printing: Fibrolon® 3D Cork is a very lightweight compound made from cork and the biobased and biodegradable bioplastic PLA. Fibrolon® 3D Cork has good melt stability and can be easily converted into lightweight filaments. Layer by layer, customers use it to print objects that not only look like cork, but also feel like cork and even smell like it. In addition to the realistic cork look, components made of Fibrolon® 3D Cork score points for their impact resistance and low weight. Fibrolon® 3D Cork is characterized by good flow properties and thermal stability. Fast printing of the filaments is therefore no problem. A good component stability is already provided directly after the end of printing, curing times are not necessary.
