Product information
Bio-Flex® S 5514 is a thermoplastic material containing high proportions of renewable raw materials. This compound is characterized by an increased flowability and can therefore be processed on single as well as multiple dies. A balanced combination of rigidity and strength with good toughness and dimensional stability characterize this product. Not only can filigree thin-walled molds be filled, but cycle times comparable to those of standard materials in the packaging industry can also be achieved. Bio-Flex® S 5514 is approved for contact with food and therefore a good choice for thin-walled packaging items with hot filling or for use at elevated temperatures.
